The ethos of Lifezone360 is to get people moving, competing and improving - and it all begins with our tots program - Lifezone Cubbies. Our coaching staff has poured hundreds of hours into developing a fun, scientifically sound, research-backed approach to athletic development.
Our core belief is that kids should play (and be developed in) multiple sports for as long as possible. Starting with Lifezone Cubbies, we integrate the foundational principles of top sports like soccer, basketball, handball and even lacrosse to build motor skills, movement fundamentals, agility, hand-eye/foot-eye co-ordination and more.
There are programs out there that specialize kids to one particular sport as early as 18 months to 3 years old. We find that to be detrimental to player development in later years. Lifezone Cubbies prepares your future star for a more balanced approach to sports - allowing them to find the sport they are best suited for in the years to come.
Since Lifezone360 has elite coaching staff across multiple sports that can take players all the way through the college and pro ranks, you'll have a single organization that can steward your child's talent all the way through their youth years.
Cheetahs (18 months - 2 years):
Cheetahs classes introduce parents and their little ones to with games that allow them to run, play as a group and develop mass motor (foot-eye coordination) skills. The focus of these fun classes is the development of motor skills, balance and coordination. Coaching staff for this age group is carefully selected for temperament, energy and passion. They go through in-depth training before being placed on the field.
Leopards (2 years - 3 years)
Whether your kid completed the Cheetahs program or is joining us for the first time, this class is designed to get a bit more soccer integrated into the fun games. We still have a blast with pool noodles, bubbles, cones and colorful toys - but at this age group, players start to dribble, shoot and score.
Jaguars (3 years - 4 years)
At this age group, we strive to ensure players are developing their agility, hand-eye coordination, and motor skills. Some fundamentals of basketball dribbling and shooting are introduced. They'll learn how to manipulate a soccer ball with multiple surfaces of their feet (inside, outside, laces, soles) and continue to play games that make moving fun.
Tigers (4 years - 5 years)
Your player may almost ready to get out there and compete in toddler recreational leagues. Even though these leagues are more "photo opps" rather than confirmation of superstar status, we prepare players for their first soccer games or mini-hooper league. Coaches focus on building awareness of team-mates and psycho-social skills in these classes - with the added element of friendly competition.
